Nutriment Blue Oil bathes skin cells in exclusive blend of hybrid Sunflower, Kukui, Evening Primrose, Borage and other barrier-repair plant oils; Vitamins A, C, D & E; and calming essential oils of Lavandin, Petitgrain, Amyris and blue Azulene from Roman Chamomile. This highly versatile oil lets your clients adapt their skin care system as their skin changes. Unlike other lipid-rich nutrient oils, Nutriment Blue Oil is stable and rancid-free for at least 4 years.

Action Ingredients:

Moisturizing lipids: found naturally in skin, these lipids hold comforting moisture between skin cells
Lipid-rich plant oils: provides essential lipids to smooth rough skin and reinforce skin’s natural barrier
Azulene: soothing blue calmative from chamomile
Sandalwood, phellodendron & barley: increases skin’s moisture, revives softness
Tocopheryl acetate: vitamin E ester, keeps skin lipids fresh, protects natural radiance
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate: stabilized, time-released vitamin C helps reduce risk of clogged-pores
Retinyl palmitate: storage form of vitamin A; helps visibly soften surface signs of aging
Cholecalciferol: Vitamin D3, required for skin’s healthy vitality

Directions:

Home Care: AM/PM: For added lubrication and protection from dryness, enrich any with gel, lotion, crème or masque with 1/2-1 pump oil, or apply directly to skin. Can also use periodically, such as in dry weather or other occassions when skin feels dry, looks dull or devitalized. As an extra-strength, skin restoring night treatment for exceptional softness, liberally massage Nutriment Blue Oil directly over skin at least 15 minutes before bedtime. This treatment is not recommended for skin with easily-clogged pores.

Facial Procedure: Blend ¼-1 tsp. oil with gels, lotions, cremes, masques or other complexes. Apply directly to skin before applying paraffin. Massage over skin as finishing step of facial.

Makeup Procedure: To lighten coverage or enrich moisturizing, blend ½ pump oil with foundation.

Hand & Foot Treatments: Massage 1-2 pumps onto hands or feet prior to treatments with paraffin or heated mitts. Apply to cuticles to soften. Massage over nails once a day to strengthen.

Power Blends:
Add moisturizing power to any masque: With masque brush, blend 1-2 pumps Nutriment Blue Oil to any masque.

Hydrating barrier-repair masque: With masque brush, blend 3 parts Soothing Gelle Masque and 1 part Nutriment Blue Oil. Apply to clean skin with brush. This mixture will act as a nutritious, hydrating massage vehicle if used under steam. To allow masque to set, discontinue steam. Remove masque after a total of 10 minutes.

Hydrating nutrient masque: Using a stiff fan masque brush, blend 1 tsp. VitaPlus Masque, ¼ tsp. Nutriment Blue Oil and ½ tsp. Moisture Boost HydraGel. Apply with brush to clean skin. Remove with lukewarm water after 10 minutes.

Nourishing hydration under paraffin: In palm, blend of ¼ tsp. Nutriment Blue Oil with ¼ tsp. Moisture Boost Hydragel. Apply to face, hands or feet prior to applying paraffin.

Nourish & pourify: In the palm, blend ½ tsp. Nutriment Blue Oil with 1 drop Detox & Purity. Massage over face, neck and décolletage.

Rapid barrier repair masque: With masque brush, blend 1 tsp. Moisture Infusion Crème Masque, ½ tsp Nutriment Blue Oil and 1 tsp. Oil Neutralizing Astringent. Apply to clean skin with brush. Remove after 10 minutes. Follow with ½ tsp. Instant Calm Ultra Complex and appropriate moisturizer for skin type.

Powerful lipid replacement: Blend 1 tsp. Facial Contour Masque, 1 pump Nutriment Blue Oil and 2 pumps Moisture Boost HydraGel. Add Aloe & Algae Activator until mixture becomes thin but not runny. Apply to clean skin. Remove after 10 minutes.

Undernourished skin: blend 1 pump Nutriment Blue Oil with VitaPlus Masque. Masque may take longer than 10 minutes to dry.

Reinforce skin's barrier in dry climates & plane cabins: In palm, blend of 1 part Nutriment Blue Oil with 3 parts Skin Defense Creme. This mixture also helps protect skin from tobacco smoke, smog and other airborne irritants.

Yes, this stuff is amazing. I, too, use it instead of a mositurizer because it works better than any heavy-duty mositurizer I've tried & doesn't feel heavy-duty. I am in my 50's in the arid Southwest & tracked down how to mail order it when my facialist stopped carrying the line.

I have been using Nutriment Blue Oil as the basis of my skincare for the last 10 years. I have sensitive but dry skin and this is perfect. It is easily absorbed into the skin and doesn't leave any oily residue. I follow with a moisturiser, but really the Nutriment Blue Oil works on its own. This product is a must for dry skin of any age.
